We give students an opportunity to be part of the solution. Harvesting Hope is a student led volunteer movement fighting hunger in Tulare County. What started as a classroom service project is now countywide involving over fifteen schools in our community. Hundreds of students have picked over 150,000 pounds of fruit for donation to local food banks helping feed thousands of people in Tulare County. Whether you are a student, parent, educator, farmer, business, church, civic group, or a community member who owns fruit trees, you can play an important role in the fight against hunger.

Donate Tree Fruit

Got fruit or nuts? Don't let it fall to the ground. We are currently seeking homes and farms with unwanted fruit and nuts to donate. Call United Way at 559.685.1766 to coordinate a harvest.

Donate Resources

Bins, baskets, clippers, ladders—we can use them. You can donate harvest equipment, or make a financial contribution so we can buy the needed items.

Become A Volunteer

If you are a student under 18 years of age, you can help fight hunger. Use the link below to print out our Volunteer Form, have it signed by a parent, and submit to a volunteer coordinator at your first harvest.
